Pricing
Pay for the work Filo finishes. Every account is free.
You pay when Filo finishes a job, like a product priced for a customer. Everyone at your company gets a free account. Supplier quotes, estimates and work that needed a person are never billed.
An example week's bill for Kestrel Labs: twelve products priced for customers are billed; 44 supplier quotes, nine estimates, seven jobs that needed a person and fourteen people with accounts cost nothing.

You pay for a job when it’s finished.
A job is something a person on your team would otherwise do. Each one has a clear point where it counts as finished, and you’re billed once for it.
| Job | Counts as finished when | Billed once per | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product pricedWinning work: a product your customer can say yes to, every tier priced. Everything that went into it is included, every supplier quote among it. | Every quantity tier of a product is priced and its Product Pricing is made where your connection makes one | Product, per customer | Set in the pilot |
| Documents clearedAdministrative. Required, but it doesn't win anything. | Everything asked of a supplier for a material arrived and passed its checks, or a person accepted it | Supplier, per material, per request | Set in the pilot |
| Order trackedAdministrative. Keeps production on schedule. | A PO is confirmed with a ship date and tracking, or received | PO, all its lines | Set in the pilot |
| Customer materials confirmedA courtesy to your own customer. | The customer's material shipped with tracking, and its documents are in | Material, per costing | Free |
| Supplier quoteReusable. It prices every product that uses the material. | A usable quote is recorded: price, MOQ, lead time | Supplier, per material, per request | Included |
| Estimate sentThe envelope. Any number of products, sent and revised as often as you need. | An estimate goes to the customer | Estimate | Free |
A product is billed once. Revisions within 60 days, like new quantities or a different material, are the same product.
Questions about pricing
- Do you charge per seat?
- No. Everyone at your company gets a free account.
- What if we revise a quote?
- A product is billed once. New quantities, a different material or a new margin within 60 days are the same product.
- Can we cap what we spend?
- Yes. You set a monthly cap. Past it, Filo still drafts the work and a person finishes it, and nothing past the cap is billed.
- Does it cost more if we use Fiddle?
- No. Filo costs the same whether your records are in Fiddle, Google Sheets or Filo.
- Is there a contract?
- Month to month after the pilot, or a yearly plan at a discount if you want a fixed budget.
- Who pays for the AI models?
- We do. The price is set by the work Filo finishes, not by what it costs us to run.
- Whose data is it?
- Yours. Your records stay in your systems, and model providers don’t train on your data. Read about security →
- Why aren’t the prices listed?
- We set them with our first pilot customers. They’ll be published here once those customers have run a quarter on them.
