Filo works with the tools you already use.
Filo reads and updates your records in Google Sheets, Fiddle or Gmail. Nothing is migrated. If you don’t have a system yet, Filo keeps the records for you.

You choose where each kind of record lives.
Suppliers can live in a Google Sheet while estimates live in Fiddle. Filo reads and writes each kind where you put it, signed in as you. Anything you haven’t placed lives in Filo, so Filo can add a supplier or an item from your first chat.
The Records page shows each kind, where it lives, and everything Filo has written there.

Moving records later is one step, and you can undo it.
Say you want suppliers in Fiddle from now on. Filo copies the rows it holds into Fiddle, keeps each row’s history, and archives the old copies. Nobody retypes anything, and one step moves them back.
If you’d rather leave the rows Filo holds where they are, say so, and only new rows go to Fiddle.

Gmail and Google Workspace
Filo sends price requests from your own Gmail and reads the replies there. It can also use Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Each person connects their own account and turns on each product.
Fiddle
Filo reads and updates suppliers, items, prices, products, customers and estimates in Fiddle, signed in as you. When Filo prices a product, the pricing is saved in Fiddle.
Slack
Message Filo directly or mention it in a channel. Filo answers as it would in the app, working as the person who asked. An admin installs it once for the workspace.
Filo follows four rules when it writes to your Google Sheet.
Filo checks the layout first.
It reads the headers and the first rows, and asks if a column isn’t where it expected.
Filo never overwrites a formula.
A cell with a formula stays a formula. Filo only writes values.
Filo comments on every cell it changes.
The comment says who asked, when, from which chat, and which email the number came from.
You can undo it.
Everything Filo added from a chat can be taken back in one step.
